Ingram’s recognizes Toblers Flowers for 125 years of service in Kansas City!

The publication celebrates Toblers Flowers’ founding brand, Bunker Hill Greenhouses, which Jacob and Etta Tobler opened in 1990 and delivered flowers to the community by horse and cart. The business stayed in the family for 122 years, being passed down from generation to generation. In the 1920s, the second generation rebranded the business to Toblers Flowers and opened its retail location on 39th and Broadway.

After three generations of Toblers keeping the family tradition alive, Brian and Chris Auckland purchased the business in 2010, continuing operations near the 18th and Vine district east of Downtown. In addition to selling fresh flowers, they’ve created an efficient lifestyle for their customers through regular blogs, flower care pages, reward points, reminder services, and more.
